As for ancient DNA data of golden family of Genghis Khan, I have already presented them in another article. "Ancient DNA Data of Golden Family of Genghis Khan", next I will analyze Y-chromosome type of Genghis Khan himself.
According to article "137 ancient human genomes from all over Eurasian steppes", published on "Nature" in 2018, Y-chromosome type of noble D28 of Golden Horde is C2-Y4633.
According to article "A Dynamic 6000-Year Genetic History of Eastern Steppe of Eurasia", published in journal "Cell" in March 2020, ancient SHG003 of Sharga-Uul tomb in Sukhbaatar, Mongolia (translation: Sukhbaatar Province) C2 -ZQ394.
Combined with distribution among Mongols in modern China, we are almost 100% sure that Genghis Khan's Y-chromosome type is C2-Y4541.
C-F3796 [3,000 years ago], known as "star cluster", accounts for 7.93% of modern Sino-Mongolian (including descendants).
His descending C-Y4580 [1450 years ago, age and distribution of descendants perfectly matches original source of Mongolian "peduanchaer", which makes up 5.98% of Mongolian people in modern China (including lower reaches).
Lower C-Y4541 of Boduanchaer type [950 years ago] in age, tree shape and distribution of descendants perfectly corresponds to "Genghis Khan" (Genghis Khan), accounting for 2.89% of Mongolian population in China (including downstream), descendants of this type are found in China, Mongolia, Russia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Pakistan, Afghanistan and other places. In period of 1000 years ago, descendants settled in all these Eurasian countries, except for Genghis Khan clan, there is no second person.
Lower C-Y4569 of Genghis Khan type [900 years ago] is suspected of Torey type, and its descendants are common in China, Mongolia, Kazakhstan, Pakistan, Afghanistan and other places.
Lower C-Y125520 of Torrey type [850 years ago] is suspected of "Hulagu" type, and its descendants are common in Pakistan, Afghanistan, and elsewhere.
According to YFull's Tree, relationship between them is as follows:
